Mouthshut is no more with its original quality!. Review on Mouthshut

I am being the member of Mouthshut for more than a decade now, recommended it for almost so many friends, relatives and colleagues due its genuine agenda and freedom to express unbiased views on various products and services enabling one to know the true colors of the same helping customers buy good products. In fact it helped buying good products and stay away from unworthy manufacturers, service providers, products and services.

Now it seems to have changed drastically and one of the worst change it has made is the rating system where it removed the very purpose of it. Instead of the member, now it Mouthshut that decides the score and rating for a product and does not allow its members to go below certain rating. This is one major reason members will just step out of Mouthshut as it loses the very basic purpose of independent unbiased rating system and even questions its credibility. Not sure whether it was made to bulge-in due to various pressures from corrupt mighty corporate or scared on legal entanglements it was pulled-in by them.

Another show stopper is the KYC which asks for various personal details, which of course is against the privacy of the members. When the website of Mouthshut itself does not have even the valid digital certificate and security, submitting such sensitive data is another scaring threat.

Started good, was doing an amazing service, sadly stepping down from its agenda! Seems to be a sad demise of this great site! Hope Mouthshut listens to its loyal members than bulging down to corporate threats and pressures.
