I'm not sure how many motorola users might get enraged by this review but...the truth is always bitter mate!
I have been a sony ericsson fan even since I started using my first mobile....Sony models have been sturdy and served my purpose. The last sony that I used was the W550i and I loved the hype that they built on the walkman phones.....must say that with the "megabass" feature the model did sufficient justice to the publicity built around it.
Post that I moved to the model in question, the Motorola V8 much against the opinions/feedback given by the crowd around me. The main reason why I switched to Motorola was because I fell for the sleek and slim look that the flip phone gave.....and I fell hard !!! I stick to what I said the looks are fantastic....but thats the only advantage as far as this phone goes..
Apart from the amazing form factor, the phone has pretty much nothing to offer.......it loses weightage in the basic functionalities of any phone
Battery Back-up : Abt 4 hrs with continuous usage / 5 hrs with light usage
Sound : Pretty feeble. You would need the vibrator on at all times. The Motomusic as Motorola's own music player is pretty much a dud..the menu lets you track songs by Artist/Album/Playlists but the moment u return to the main menu, the musicplayer forgets your choice under the sub-menu and then begins the tedious hunt to find your first choice!! You will understand this better if you have used the Motomusic...the handsfree is flimsy too!!!
Features : naah......doesnt match to what the other flip models in the market have to offer.....only a web browser...(sites keep hanging most of the time)....2 mediocre games...
Value For Money : If you get it for free...then why not....else, dont waste your money folks....
