Value for Money:

I purchased the Moto G4 plus in Feb 2017, considering the fact that Moto'G' lineup were providing a good value for money phones in the previous years.

From the Day 1 itself the phone used to get warm even after slight usage. And if you are recording videos over 10 minutes, the video will get laggy and the phone gets so hot that you will have to put it aside till it gets normal.

The second issue which I faced was due to the stock android security feature, some apps like ShutApp were not installing, which I had no issues installing on other phones.

Another minor concern was due to the lack of gyroscope sensor, while taking turn during driving, the google maps did not provide accurate enough route info.

Last issue was when you turn off this device the alarm doesn't go off. In all the phones which I previously owned, even when you switched off the phone the alarm worked on the set time.

Having listed all the cons there are many pros in this device as well.

The camera in this phone is excellent. Almost comparable to flagships phone cameras. Some of the photos I took at family functions were better than professional cameramen.

The stock android experience is very fluidic and I rarely encountered any UI lags.

Also this phone supports fast charging which charged to full capacity from zero in about 90 minutes.

The fingerprint scanner is fast enough, speaker sound quality is average but sound through headphone jack is good.

Lastly this device is volte enabled so need to download third party apps for voice.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone despite its excellent camera.
