The Motorola Moto G3 was release in 2015 by Motorola. This smartphone was very popular and one of the best selling budget smartphone in 2015.

Display: -

The display of the phone is decent. It is an 5 inch IPS LCD HD display. Considering the price range of this phone, all other compitetors of it mostly have a full HD display. Thus having an HD display with this price range is a down point of the Moto G3. Overall the display has good viewing angles and is visible enough in sunlight.

Hardware: -

The Moto G3 comes equipped with Snapdragon 410 quad core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. It is coupled with 1Gb ram in the 8gb variant and 2gb ram in the 16gb variant. The phone in the initial days runs smoothly and lag free but after some eavy usage for some days it starts to lag and isnt snappy enough.

While all the compitetors of this phone are mostly lag free and snappy, this is also a downpoint of the Moto G3. The ram is low and the processor is outdated.

Battery: -

The phone runs on a 2400mah battery. It drains dry easily on very heavy usage.

Camera: -

The phone is equipped with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Both of them shoot decent images but are very bad in low light conditions.

The rear one has a dual tone led flashlight and has features like HDR and autofocus.

Storage: -

The phone comes in 2 variants. The 8Gb storage variant and 16GB storage variant. Both the variants support expandable storage upto 128GB.

The difference in pricing between the 2 variants is of just Rs. 1009 so it beneficial to spend 1K more for more storage and more RAM

Software.: -

The phone runs on the Android Lollipop out of the box but was recently upgraded to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is almost a pure Android with some useful preloaded apps by Motorola like Moto Actions and Moto Display.

Overall the phone is a decent but not great. The phone was in a lot of limelight when it was launched but considering other phones in this price range, the Moto G3 lags behind in almost every part. Its camera is not that good and neither is its performance after some days of use.
