Located in Bandra on the junction of PaliHill Road and Turner Road, this one has been undergoing renovation for sometime now.God only knows how much time it will take for them to finish it up.
The Food here was good, I must confess.We had both veg and non veg food and it was salubrious to say the least.We had dal makhani,malai kofta,amritsari chole,raita for veg people and malaysian kebab,fish haryali and some other chicken dish I forget the name.The food was well prepared and tasty.We ate like mad I have to confess and we all liked the food there.Its very tough to find good authentic Punjabi food in Bombay.
The Price for me was ok ok, 8 of us went there and ate like anything and the total bill came out to 1800 neat.So going by simple maths it works out to less then 250 per head,which for me is an ok price considering the quality of the food being served there.
The Ambience here is quite electric coz of the location it is in.If you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of the who's who of tinsel town.Otherwise also the gentry here is pretty decent as one would expect given its posh location.One would not regret going out to this place to have dinner with his date/spouse/friends.
The Service was something of a let down, as they took a long time to serve the food and also I did not find the waiters very polite and helpful.Infact they were trying to push us into ordering more then what we wanted to have, definitely not the way to go about it.
But all in all an ok place to go to, I would say.But if someone is going there with very high hopes then I dont know if it would live upto it or not.Not a very rocking kind of place but then not bad either.Once in a while one can definitely go there and enjoy the food.
