My dad was admitted into this hospital for a surgery. The hospital initially quoted 1.5 L and we ended up paying 4.23 L.

This hospital provides 2 1L bottle of water and if you need more you need to buy. This becomes difficult if the attendant is a senior citizen. Also the nursing service is extremely poor. Nurses are rude and they don't listen to doctor's instruction properly and you have to constantly chase them to get any service. The standard answer from the nurse is that we are short of people and we cannot help you.

If the doctor advises to prescribe medicine, the nurses will take at least 24 hours before delivering the medicine as their process is so complex that procuring medicine takes time and you need to constantly escalate. I even escalated this to customer service and an inquiry was conducted but the service did not improve. I even raised my concern to the doctors there and they agreed with me but they were helpless. You cannot believe that my dad's surgery was delayed because the helpers were not available on time and the chief doctor has to wait for the helper:( Because I escalated the worst nursing service, the nurses in the ICU were making comments to my dad(assuming that he was sleeping) like "why do we care whether you live or die".

There were lot of mistakes during the surgery as the drain pipe that was supposed to be attached to the abdomen was procured with wrong size, fluids got accumulated inside my dad's lungs instead of draining out, the doctors don't work during the weekends and and the situation became very serious that he had to move into ICU. Due to careless care, we ended up paying 3L more and the dad had to go through lot of hardship and stayed for more than 10 extra days.

During the entire stay, we were kept in the dark about the charges and when we were about to discharge, the bill came like a bomb and we were so desperate to leave, we didn't argue and we just paid and left.

One positive experience was the doctor's service. He was very patient and he took the time to explain the problem that my dad was facing and he was always available to answer all of our questions.

I believe this hospital is meant for international patients and they treat Indian citizens like dirt. I will never recommend this hospital for any service as I believe Doctor's treatment is only 20% of the recovery process and the rest 80% recovery is based on how the nurses take care of the patients. Due to careless mistakes and nurses not properly taking care of my dad resulted in my dad staying in the hospital for additional 10 days and we ended up shelling out 3L more.
