My husband & I had gone to Mint Masala on seeing their bill board advertisement right in front of their restaurant, claiming Buffet service for lunch. Since we had travelled a lot and were quite hungry, we decided to stop and avail their buffet service. While entering, we verified with the a waiter/manager in a 3-peice suit at the entrance regarding the buffet and were told that it was available. However, after we had loaded the starters onto the plate and were about to eat, another waiter told us quite rudely that they were closing the buffet. After an argument about the lousy treatment of customers, we asked for the Manager so that we could set things straight. However, much to our surprise, we found that not only did the manager not speak english/hindi properly, he was rude and unwilling to take up ownership, saying that he was not the guy at the entrance who told us about the buffet, hence he was not responsible. He said it was not his headache if the waiters misbehaved with the customers and himself started throwing abuses at us in half-baked english and kannada.
Not only were we dismayed at their behaviour, we were astounded to realise they did'nt care what customers thought about their services. The food might have been good but since theie customer service is pathetic, I suggest you drop the plans of dining there and save yourself the trouble of being ill-treated for nothing by strangers.
