This is my first review , Only reason I am writing it is since I do not find much about this phone prior to my buying so thought of sharing first hand inputs for Computer and Net geeks like me who wish to read reviews before making decision on buying any product.
On my recent visit to gaffar( Karol Bagh) I was taken away by features of this phone . Finally after going thru range of Chineese ( E71 Pro copies) and Samsung Dual Sim phones I ended up buying this phone based on my requirment of dual sim and querty keyboard.
Seeing there Advt Commercials on TV & Hoardings all around city and metro stations I was thinking its just another chineese product which they are just boasting around. Believe me every word of it is true real value for money phone. It has all the required features which any youngster would want in his phone.
Pros
1) Sleek & Neat design with Querty Keyboard ( They call it as EZpad) . It gives a look of Blackberry.
2) Dual Sim with dual standby.
3) Mp3 and FM player with good sound quality.
4) Excellent baterry backup. Its last for 2 days on single charge for me with exaustive usage on phone as well as FM/ MP3 player ( about 3 Hours of phone usage and 2-3 hours on MP3)
5) USB connectivity and PC Suite ( Available as free download from there site https://micromaxinfo.com/) to ease Sync of your Phonebook from your old phone.
6) Vibrate/ Ring on call connect. This is something I got carried away whereby you don't need to hold the phone next to ear ( Radiation Hazard) while making a call when its ringing. As soon as call gets connected phone will vibrate / ring a tone indicating call is connected and you can start talking. So no more sticking phone next to you ear while its ringing and waiting for person to pick up your call.
7) It comes bundeled with all required accesories ( USB Cable, Charger , Hands free kit). Believe me its of good quality at par with leading brands and not like any other chineese make available in market.
8) Pre-loaded GPRS/WAP settings for all Mobile Operators.
9) Nimbuzz ( For keeping you connected on all messenger) , Operamail for browsing and customized email client for POP3 all these features available at this price is real VFM.
10) Bluetooth works practically with any available bluetooth headset in market as well there is option of using stereo bluetooth headset for calls and listening to music. I tried with Motorola and Nokia and it works well for me,
11) Box packed with one year warranty and Bill with wide support network using existing service netowrk of well known IT & Mobile service support partner.
Cons :
1) Keys on keypad are too small this is something they could have done better. I got familar with it in 2-3 days of usage so not much of challenge.
2) Though phone gives option of selecting ring tones( Downloaded customized ones) on your choice but its limted to 5 such tones in profiles. This limits option of choosing different customized tone for each caller to max of 15 differnet tones( 20 Inbuilt + 5 customized selected at your choice)
3) They could have worked better on PC Suite supplied for the handset. There is no installable just a folder which you can unzip and start using the executable file. It has limted options though I had not yet tested all only used it once to Sync my phonebook from Palm Treo 750.
4) Video palyer does not have option of palying video on full screen or may be I am not a ble to figure it out yet. Did not have patience to read thru manual and look for it.
5)Camera is just 1.3 MP though results are good but with range of products available in market my view is its should have been atleast 2 MP added flash would have been bless.
6) Memeory card is not supplied with this phone though its supports upto 2 GB with internal phone memory of 10 MB( Which again is less compared to available phones in market). Though personally I did not mind it as I already had one in my old phone and using it. It also saved me time of transferring my songs and pictures from old memory card.
Thus I conclude it as good value for money phone for people like me who do not wish to spend more just for brand and neither had to compramise on quality for price. Right choice for all those who wish to pick up dual sim GSM.
