Few Men have had an impact on Modern History like one Mr. Adolf Hitler: a Bavarian by birth, a painter by choice, a soldier by default and a political Leader by nature.
After an unassuming childhood, young Hitler fled to Vienna, then a cultural melting pot in the middle of Colonial Europe. He was a failure as a painter, was pressed into the Army during the First World War and ended up as a Corporal. It was in the post-War turmoil that he emerged in the public spotlight as a charismatic Right-wing leader.
''Mein Kamph'' (My Struggle) was written by this complex man during a stint in prison after leading an abortive overthrow of the German Govt. early in the 1920s. This Autobiography laced with political dogma is badly written, with the Author jumping from one topic to another, with rational thoughts merged with irrational prejudices (especially Anti-Semitism). Not exactly a great read, though it is exceptional in the parts dealing with Hitler's Vision of successful Mass Manipulation- a technique Hitler refined and mastered by the Time he assumed Germany's Leadership in 1933.
An interesting though warped look at one of the strongest wills and minds to ever stain humanity with their 'Vision'.
