This is totally girl's stuff, sorry boys but I am reviewing Maybelline Colossal Kajal.
When you have bold and beautiful eyes, everything else dims in comparison. With Maybelline Colossal Kajal you can get the dark, sultry eyed look and add a lot of drama and glamour to your overall look.
Women have used kajal for generations and it continues to be a must-have product in every woman’s make-up kit.
What Maybelline Claims:
The deepest black Kajal, creates fine lines & is smudge free.A pencil kajal that gives bold lines, glossy shine and glides on smoothly.Maybelline Colossal Kajal is totally smudge- free and water resistant.It is enriched with olive oil, vitamin E, vitamin C derivatives and conditioning agents, that soothes the eyes and prevents irritation.Opthalmologically tested & suitable for contact lens users.
My take on the product:
I am a kajal fan and a complete Colossal loyalist, as I am sure many other girls would be. Its not all that easy to find a kajal that stays put for long and doesn't smudge. But with the launch of Maybelline Smudge-free Colossal Kajal in India, that problem is solved. Earlier, Maybelline claimed that Colossal Kajal lasts for almost 6 hours and is smudge-free. But now Maybelline has recently launched the new improved Colossal Kajal with the 12 hour stay formula:Compared to the original formula, the new formula is creamier, softer and gives a smoother glide on the eyes. Its quite dark black and gives good color in a single stroke. A second swipe is required to get the darkest color. As far as the claims go, it doesn't live up to every one of them, it is long wearing for sure, I see first signs of fading within 5 to 6 hours. And that quite good saying power for me. Also the new formula didn't sting or irritate my eye. I like the bright eye-catching yellow packaging. Even if you dump it along with your other pencils and makeup, you don’t have to search for it.
What I like about Maybelline 12 Hour Colossal Kajal:
Glides easily no tugging on the waterline.Affordable.Sleek & stylish packaging.No need to sharpen.Travel friendly.No irritation.Opthalmologically tested.
What I don’t like about The New Maybelline Colossal Kajal:
Not completely smudge-proof, starts smudging after 5 hours.Staying power is not 12 hours as claimed.
Overall verdict:
The new Maybelline the Colossal Kajal 12 Hour formula is an excellent kajal for those looking for a good budget kajal. Its sufficiently dark black, creamy and stays on well. It may not live up to its tall claims but its still an excellent product! Recommended.
