Something tells me that MAXIM is no longer on my favored reading list. From a Vedic perspective, this "kama" - or more specifically pornography - is sort of tame compared to the filth one finds on the Internet.
I strongly suggest an hour of hatha yoga asana and meditation before venturing out to buy MAXIM in India - I mean there is simply so many things more interesting in India to look at ponder(even meditate) than a scantily clad women expressing a materialistic attitude on life.
I did some photography for an Indian magazine - something to do with women - only out of sheer boredom. Sex= Bore . I really mean it!
Lately, with the spread of the Internet as a vehicle for porn - nothing seems to be left undone or unsaid - the average Indian these days has "been there, done it" - sometimes at a(too) early age.
MAXIM - the production values are excellent given the International nature of the publication. From the point-of-veiw of a graphics designer or publication specialist - the typography, layout and photography are world class.
