The handling of the new Oracle (due to the death of actress Gloria Foster) is a little messy
Neo starts off The Matrix Revolutions with another big dilemma - he's trapped in between The Matrix and the real world. The chosen one had just saved his true love, Trinity, from certain death and risked the fate of the free world of Zion. Not exactly a happy ending.
Meanwhile Trinity, Morpheus and Niobe are on a ship with a comatose guy posessed by Agent Smith.
And then there's Zion... the free nation built deep within the scorched earth is under attack from hordes of sentinels.
Most of Revolutions takes place outside The Matrix and deals with the reality of survival. (Neo can't fly and Trinity can't run up walls outside of The Matrix - makes kicking someone's but! that much harder). And, if you're worried about losing out on cool, amazing fight scenes just because Neo and the gang don't hang in The Matrix all that much - don't. The time they do spend in the computer world is filled with killer fights and battles. And, the war between the machines and the people of Zion makes any Star Wars battle look like a school-yard game. Serious action. Serious.
