I bought the Wagon R – LXI – model – Passion Red colour in December 2006 and wish to share my views on the same.

Before I bought the car, I visited this site and went through the user reviews and I wish to reciprocate the same to show my gratitude.

I wish to mention one incident where in my friend, who owns a Tata Indica V2, asked me to drop him at his residence. The moment he sat in the front seat of my car he said,          “Wow! I could see the whole world through this; I am getting a very broad view which I don’t get in my car”

This, in my opinion, is the best feature in Wagon R. Though I am first time user and don’t have much experience in driving other models, I do compare this car with Santro zing. As a buyer almost every one tends to compare these models more.

Firstly the view is the best in Wagon R. I learnt driving with Santro and I can vouch that wagon R makes you feel that you can see even the bottom of the bonnet. Believe it, my colleagues, at least two of them; have been using pillows to sit on for a better view while driving their Santro Zings. Spacious, with more leg room and boot space. I feel over all it is more comfortable. The mileage side I get 13 km/ltr in city( I live in Mumbai Suburb) and when I use Xtra premium or Speed petrol, I get close to 15 with AC on. I have driven only 1600 kms as of now and my dealer had said that he shall tune the engine further upon completion of 3000 kms. My information is that Santro has not crossed 13 km/ltr in any case.

*Update as  on 20th March 2007:

I drove to Lonavla alone with AC on and I got 18+/ltr(Speed from BPCL) mileage and I never expected it. I am very happy with the car's performance.
