I am kinda fanatic abt cars....my father owns a maruti 800 since long years n its time now for a change....iv been lookin for a change since 1 yr n yet still to make up my mind....had tons of test rides among estilo, indica turbo, spark, swift.....-->already given review on v2 turbo in appropriate section...
today finally we test rided swift vdi(diesel) n took no time in finalising such long pending decision...
the car is smooth as butter n thrs no feeling of a diesel engine....eco is damn good wit arnd 20 kmpl claimed by local users.....
now comin to common diesel issue...power....i found it more in pick up than estilo n spark....
at 2rpm wen its turbo engine pumps in thrs no stoppin frm dat n it leaves every opponents look like bullock carts....
comfort level is ok but maruti can do much better than this considering this as best diesel engine in india...
Compared 2 indica turbo....indica has same logic of turbo which charges in at 2 rpm but other diff r same as maruti n tata.....indica engine is quicker in giving up.....wen reliability comes its alwez maruti...tatas need 2 look over this....plus thrs a diff in average aswell...only point indica pulls in is price....but again better fuel average n better maintain cost compensates....
To all buyers congrats for gettin d best diesel power n to thinkers...just take a test ride n decide urself....
