After a lot of R & D in 1200-1300 CC car Segment , I got my Ritz vxi on Sept, 09 from Ghaziabad. The car is having a good power in a 1200cc class . No engine noise. So far I have completed 600KM. I felt that avg is around 12-13 in Delhi with Ac. I have fitted JVC Music system-good sound .here I would like to have you attention for some probelms, which I observed as an engineer -
(1) Back Gear Shift
(2) Noise when pressing the Break (No so often)
(3) rear View during reversing the car.
(4) In a long Drive, I felt pain in my right leg , due to pressing the Acceelator as the Accltr position is in 70-80 degree from the bottom & u have to continue pressing the Acceelator for speeding the car.Which results the pain in the right leg . It means the Acceelator position is not designed ergonomically as it is other cars like Hyndui , Honda City etc. Where the Acceelator position is good. One should consider this matter.
In a test drive , you can not find this.
(5)I have fitted auto Cop Gear Lock in my ritz.what I have seen that the gear lock in not properly fitted as gear positioning is higher . maruti should recoomand the gear lock & make a provisions in car for gear locks. because autocop guy faced probelms to fitting this lock.
except above this is nice car in small segment.
would somebody suggest me abt that above probs.
