I am driving this(Ritz VXI) vehicle for 2 years and its not suitable for all.
Body is very mild and not to strong. A small accidental hit will make the bumper lose and will fall.
Its tall design will not give you confidence when driving at speed of 100 km in normal bends in smooth road like highways.
One time I have drove this vehicle up to 140 km/ph for 2-5 mins . I felt very smooth and heaven. But now when reaching 60 km, engine response was too low and a treble sound is coming up.
Also A/C cooling are very chill till 6 months and now while switching on, it makes some noise.
Due to tall design, wheels are not sporty and there is no responsive like Swift.
I will give periodic service before am taking to long distance for safety.
I Prefer to buy Old swift Top end model and went to dealer for buying. The Dealer said why you are wasting money so much on Top end model and convinced us to buy RITZ.
He convinced us like Booking the Swift will take waiting period of 6 months and also the Top end model wil have ABS and Air Bags. He mentioned that ABS will not suit for Indian roads as you have to maintain 60-80 km and ABS will work above 120 -140 km. The Airbags are waste too, like giving a example if you hit any divder in the road, if the airbag is released, we will throw the entire airbag and you have replace the whole thing which will cost around 50, 000 and above.
He has convinced like this and created more threaten on maintaining the Top end models and my parents got brainwash on hearing these above points. Finally they decided to buy immediate of top end model VXI and due to waiting period of swift, he told to buy RITZ which has the same engine and every facilities.
Finally we got brain washed and booked the RITZ. my recommendation for everyone is dont listen to any dealer words, they have these marketing strategies to sell RITZ in the market.
Please aware of the dealers. Ask them to provide what you require, bcoz we are the customers. we buy the product as we like, not the dealers wish to Sell the products.
I don't like this vehicle before and you may think I have rated poor. Its not true. For instance, Dealer said that Same like like Swift, we have in RITZ, then Why RITZ Rate is Below than SWIFT .?
Plz think, SWIFT and Desirze Quality will not coming RITZ. Its Bumper and body design quality, Enigne Crane Shaft, Gear box every quality differs. So its cost less than Swift. So Maruti can given guarantee above 1, 00, 000 kms for swift but they cant give this to RITZ. Am very sure about it, above 40, 000 km there will be problems like Crane shaft and gearbox tuning in RITZ.
Not sure, how many of them lost there dream cars and bought like this.
Please analyze all factors before buying any car and beware of the Offers and dealers advice. Consult if you any vehicle divisors and Reputed Mechanics. Bcoz your dream car will satisfy your happiness.
