Exactly the same case here. I booked my ZXi on Akshaya Tritiya ( April 24th ) and I am 2nd in Q for this variant at my dealers end in Bangalore ( Kalyani ).They are yet to confirm me any delivery date.
Its beyond pathetic and callous approach by Maruti in keeping their customers in dark and in an unending wait situation..The least they can do is bring in some transparency and stream line the process.They don’’t bother to inform you anything and some are also miss-communicating and trying to attribute the delay with the Manesar plant ( where we all know ERTIGA is coming out of Gurgaon Plant ). Maruti please wake up. We are not standing in front of a ration shop for our monthly provisions. Get sensitive and come out of this mentality become more customer friendly.
My dealer called me up 15 days back to inform that he could arrange me a VXI... but I told him clearly that I wasn't interested, especially after I have waited for 4 months now and do not want to compromise on safety features after shelling out so much money..
