I bought this car in Nov 2003. The performance of the car is very good.
The only complaint I have is regarding bodywork of the car. In low gears the car squeaks a lot. More so on the left side. Also the left side fronth door doesn't lock unless pulled hard. The AC is very good.
I could not get the car serviced on its due date after completion of one year. I had to chase Customer Service of Maruti for more than one month to get my vehicle serviced. The initial response was very bad from Maruti Customer Service. However on constant persuation and some veiled threats they agreed t service my vehicle (FREE).
Overall a good car.
Don't forget to get your car serviced in time. Maruti is very rigid with its free servicing dates and will try to avoid free servicing.
The power steering is amazing and works fine. Gears move smooth. Milage is very good i.e. more than 15 KM / Litre.
