Help & Support:

I bought Maple Vista Mixer grinder yesterday, after reading all the reviews on all other mixers on the internet and MS for over 2 months now. The basic reason to go for Maple were:

  1. 750 Watts Powerful Heavy Duty Motor

  2. The quality of jars which were being provided

  3. Recommendation from our local shopkeeper, that he will provide service within a day in case of Maple. He was not ready to provide the same level of service for Bajaj, Preeti, Kenstar etc. That was a dealmaker.

  4. Good deal from the shopkeeper. We got one Maple non stick tawa, smaill and big kadai free with 1 year warranty.

  5. Home Service from Maple. (although I have not used it till now)

I already had a Bajaj GX10 which was bought around 5 yrs back and we were happy with it for so many years. Only that it was becoming old and the motor seemed to be becoming weak, mainly while grinding the Batter for Dosa, my wife used to complain that it is very rough and she has to mix lot of water to grind it. So, we had been looking for a new and more powerful one, so the obvious choices were the ones with 750 watts motor.

We rejected Morphy Richards as we did not find many people in INdia using it. also read some negative reviews about it on Mouthshut. Bajaj is providing the service for it and the service doesn't seem to be upto mark.

So we zeroed on Preeti Blue leaf Gold, ChefPro or Morphy Richards Icon which both have 750 watts motor. We went to the shop to buy Preeti, but then the service came into picture. If we face any problem, we would have to goto the service center and they will repair it in 1 day. If we give to shopkeeper , it will take 2-3 days. So, he introduced Maple Vista to us. We liked it in the first look. They provide home service and shopkeeper also asured of good service in case Maple people do not turn up. We have already been using a Maple Juicer at home and it hasn't given any problems in the past 1 year. So, the deal was done. We got it in around 4k, with freebies worth around 1000 Rs. We also got one extra small jar at extra cost of 300 Rs.

So, we used it for some griding at home yesterday and it really did a very good job. The main challenge was with the dosa batter, for which my wife had to give the verdict. She tried it today morning and was very happy with it saying that it ground the whole batter within 5 mts and without mixing much water. It seemed to be even better than the wet grinder. So, the purpose was served at least to begin with.

We have to see if it keeps the same performance going further, too. The motor comes with a 5 year warranty and other body parts have 2 year warranty. So far So good and I recommend this to others too.

Comments after around 2 months of Usage:

After a week of usage, found out that the small jar was leading from botton. Called up the customer care and they were very prompt in giving the service. The technician came on second day as per my timings to repair. He also brought the required spares, as per the problem mentioned. Changed the gasket and fixed it again. Checked the mixer and went off. There has been no problems with the mixer since then. Till now did not need to call the customer care again.
