Manali, also known as queen of hills is located in Himachal Pradesh. I visited with my family in the month of March 2016 from Chandigarh. The climate in Manali is always pleasant and cold no matter whichever season you go. In march, the skies were blue and sun was perfect for Manali winter. There is so much to do in Manali. Take a morning walk along the Beas river bank, stroll on the Mall road in the afternoon and go for evening picnic to Van Vihar National park.
There are so many options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foodies. Although, traffic is often caused due to cabs and rickshaws but certain areas such as old Manali are free from pollution and offer peace and calmness to mind. Beas river is the pride of Manali and often serves as the picnic destination for travellers who love clicking pictures. There are so many activities such as rafting, river crossing and trekking to do from Manali. Manali is recommended for all age groups from kids to old people. The best place for a perfect relaxed vacation.
