Story:

The Malory Towers Series is kind of similar to that of St. Clares. Revolving around the lacrosse lover Darrell Rivers and her life at an all girls boarding school, these books are full of life.

At first, like every girl, Darrell is sorry to leave her home and her parents but later finds out that life at Malory Towers is very enjoyable.

The green courtyard, the blue pool, the cosy dormitories, the plump Mam?zelle Dupont, the midnight feasts, forgetful Irene and quick witted Alicia- the daredevil soon become part of her life.

The funniest parts usually involve the fun loving Alicia and her best friend Betty Hill playing tricks on Mam?zelle Dupont. What with sneezing powder and bubbling pellets, the girls do have a lot of fun!

By the end of the third year, almost everyone is well paired of with each other except snobbish Gwendoline Mary Lacy who tries to make friends with new girls who join every term but fails miserably.

In the fourth book or the fourth year, Darrell?s younger sister Felicity also joins Malory Towers. Her life and her share of friends add to the fun.

As new girls with new problems join the school every term, the book becomes a lot more exciting. But all ends well and there is a happy conclusion to every book of the series.

Enid Blyton has done a wonderful job with Malory Towers. Anybody who likes Malory Towers is sure to like St. Clares as well. I really like Enid Mary Blyton's writing style.

It is simple and easy to understand. She is also very descriptive in her books.

She is one of the most successful Author for Children.
