Are you a complete foodie like me? Do you like to try more and more cuisines from all over the world? Do you like a bland taste - especially in Chinese? If yes to all these, then go and enjoy at Mainland china pune.
I had been there for the first time on my B'day. Initially I thought I am taking a risk before going there. We went for a weekend Buffet really and we were there for 3 hours minimum. Not to say that we were full but we were content too , tell you why. As you enter you will normally find queue and you will have to wait for some time. If not, then you are lucky. But that happens rarely. When you get your turn , the lady will politely come and take you to your table. You just go on liking the ambience and fresh aroma of Chinese vegetables and sauces.
I had always been there for lunch and never for dinner so my experience will be limited to buffet lunch, however I believe dinner would be nice experience.
well, coming back to weekend Buffet lunch- costs around 350. This starts with drinks first -- a pint of beer or fresh lime water and ice tea. This later follows with variety soup of the day, unlimited main course - typical chiense falvour - not Indian spicy Chinese though. You can find the ever soft rice and noodles here. Well, this buffet has deserts too, preferably ice creams, fruits, pancakes etc.
Be ready to wait for 1 hour to get your turn for the table, that’s the only waiting. To avoid this, reach there as early as possible
The Week day lunch is similar to above, expect that it is a set menu. You get the same drinks. 1 choice of main course for non-veg or 2 choices of veg, rice or noodles , dessert- all limited. Believe me this is again a wonderful option and it costs 200 !
