Bollywood industry has come of age. It has adapted itself to the changing expectations of the viewers. Directors & producers are ready to experiment - with new faces, new concepts & themes. Though their fresh & bold ideas are quite appreciated but the way they implement it lets us down. We end up saying - 'A fresh & good idea has been wasted.'

In such a scenario, the indomitable King Khan made us feel his presence in his own way. Shahrukh Khan said it for all his fans - ''No need to be tortured by the bogus stuff others are offering... Main Hoon Na.''

Watching Main Hoon Na was truely a wonderful experience. Each & every scene is vividly picturized. It starts off as an action movie & then the movie takes us into a lighter & romantic & comic environment of a school. Music is good and hummable. Packaging is awesome. There is not even a single moment in the movie which bores u.

Natural acting with brilliant performances. The whole gamut of professors of St. Pauls school presented topclass comedy. Suchmita & SRK looked cute together. Amrita Rao has proved her worth once again. Zayed was not very impressive but the character he played suited his persona. Sunil Shetty as a baddie was impressive. He looked really bad & repulsive. SRK as a decent polite army man played his role to the hilt.

''Successful People Don't Do Different Things. They Do It Differently.''

The movie is a concoction of everything. A little bit of this & a little bit of that... It deals with a number of concepts interwoven meticulously.

# Student Loves Teacher.

# Daughter Hates Father.

# Illegitimate Child becoming an issue of altercation between husband & wife.

# Indo-Pak Friendship.

# Crying Mother.

# Dieing Father.

# Mission To Protect Some Army Man's Daughter.

# Mission To Reunite Family.

Farah Khan did nothing new. She packaged the old things in a fresh & new way. Kudos to her for delivering a complete masala film. She brought the long-lost genre of 'total masala movies' back in our memory. While others are experimenting with bold themes, Farah blended the old things & dished out a pure entertaining film.

What one expect from a 3 hour movie? Entertainment or some serious analysis? I believe, most of us would go for the former option !! Why to complain if it is delivering pure entertainment? When u talk abt movies, logics should be kept at bay. Main Hoon Na is replete with entertainment. Those who understand entertainment will understand & enjoy this movie, others will try to find faults with it. Thats the way it is. Nothing is appreciated by all. Nothing is criticized by all. Mixed response is what everything in this world gets.

Shah Rukh has the last word when he says,''You can't be true-to-life in a commercial film because commercial films are untrue-to-life by their very definition. They sell a dream.''

This movie is a treat not only for SRK fans but also for his critics. What say guys & gals? Critics of SRK, don't forget to drop in a line or two in the comments section. Wasn't he awesome in the movie?
