The world consists of two types of people - One who have read the Lord Of the Rings and the other who will read it ---- J.R.R. Tolkien my title says there are no words to describe this movie but I shall try to do some justice to its brilliance. The book was written by J.R.R. Tolkien a number of years ago, since when it has been editted over and over to make it simpler to understand.

The book is complete with maps, pronunciations, family trees, etc. in all an ultimate reading experience. Though fantasy in genre it has got to be the most well written fiction I have ever read. The Return Of the King (ROTK) is the final part of the trilogy.

Though the movie cannot really capture the intensity of a book, peter jackson has done a comendable job in his adapted screenplay. In the final part the journey leads towards the destruction of the ring and the ring bearer's (Frodo ) perilous journey in attempting to reach Mount Doom the place of its destruction, which lies right in the heart of the dark lords' domain.

Simultaneously there is the battle at gondor (minas tirith). If one thinks the battle at helms deep in the second was one of the most spectacular war seens ever created, they should definitely think again.

The battle in the ROTK will leave you speechless. If you are not glued to the screen I shall pay for your ticket - that is a promise. It has got everything you can imagine - not just slaying and carnage but it brings within you emotion. This must also be attributted to the brilliant original score.

The music takes your breath away. All in all it deserved the 11 oscars it got. contrary to what critics might say ( it being predictable ), I agree there is nothing that comes close to even mount a challenge worthwhile. I rate this movie as one of the all time greats. I shall definitely have the trilogy as a collection on DVD.
