BPL – It is the worst. Review on Loop Mobile Operator

I have been cheated and deceived by the goons of BPL which is one of the most popular service providers in Mumbai. I am a dissatisfied customer of their Pre-Paid service.

BPL harasses its customers by making at least 5-6 unsolicited calls on your phone promoting their various schemes and offers. I got one call a few days back informing me about the offer of Re.1 per call charge. I told that tele-marketing operator that I will think and then tell her. The very next minute when I check my balance I was shocked to see that my balance is reduced by Rs. 50. I never asked for the service to be activated nor did the operator tell me about the charge. When I call them back on the hotline number, they tell me that nothing can be done now and you will be charged Rs. 50.

The hotline number cannot be reached until we call atleast 5-6 times. Then when we get through we are given stupid replies. Their staff is the most rude and they never understand any problem of yours. I think they have employed some uneducated sadak-chaps.

When ever you are in a meeting, attending a lecture, doing some thing important, you get a call on your phone advertising their offers and even if you do not want them, you are charged forcefully. You get atleast 10-15 smses on your phone about ringtones, horoscopes, caller tunes, 50 paise sms, and such other sh*t offers of their which I am not interested in. I have requested them, scolded them and threatened them to not to send me such nonsensical Smses and not to call my phone but they will not listen. I think now I will give them a legal notice.

Their network is another thing which I hate. My Friend has a Hutch connection and my sister has an Airtel connection. I have noticed that whenever I am with my friend or sis their networks work on full and I never get a good network so many times. Even when I am at my home, I cannot call or receive calls many times. They claim that their network is the best in Mumbai. They are LYING.

Another thing which I hate is that seven days prior to the expiry date of your account. You are sent Smses and get a recorded message on your phone before you make any calls that your account is going to expire, recharge it. This bugs me a lot. Why do they need to bother me again and again?

Their roaming is another worst thing which you can ever use. The charges are very high. You have to active roaming on your phone atleast one day before you leave the town. They claim that you can active the roaming service within 4 hours. Another Big False claim of BPL

One day I got this msg on my phone that I have not provided them with any proof of identity and they will discontinue my account. I got the biggest shock of my life.I was using this account for one year and I had provided them with my passport copy then why should they send me a msg. I visited their service center (they have very few service centers in Mumbai) and they told me that the identity proof is misplaced and I need to provide them again. If the passport copy was misplaced then is it my fault. These people should have come to my house to collect the copy from me. They wasted my time and money.

Never to use this service provider

I have decided to switch over to some other service provider when my balance is over.

I don’t tell this often but I hope “BPL and its goons should Burn in HELL”
