So I bought the k5 plus this Tuesday. My budget was 9 I guess.
Made some interesting observations: The screen is actually 5.25 inches, slightly bigger than my friend's oneplus x and the pixel density is 419ppi and not the advertised 441ppi. I've grown fond of the peculiar size pretty quickly.
The SOC isn't as weaksauce as I thought but it's being bogged down by the 1080p native resolution that the phone is running.
It's seems to reach 50-51°c during prolonged intense gaming but I don't mind holding the slightly toasty phone. I'll have to test more thoroughly with logcat running to figure out if it's thermal throttling.
All in all the display is brilliant and the audio surprised me even though my last phone was an xperia. It can handle h.264 video streaming quite well with about 30ms of delay.
