If you are looking for a complete multimedia package go for it.
It comes with the out standing dolby atmos dual front firing speakers. It comes with android lollipop 5.0.1 but marshmallow update is available by lenovo. Comes with mediatek octacore processor witch is not as power full as snapdragon 615 or above but it will handle all your needs mostly except higher end gaming. Mind you higher and games means noah3 aspalt 8 other graphics intense games. If you are an average gamer than it is sufficient for you fore sure. I am an occasional gamer and it works for me very nicely.
The battery backup is also good it will give you 6-7 hours in screen time.Basically lenovo has tried to built a complete multimedia package so they have given dolby atmos as well as the the theater max technology. Which is very good if you have an ant vr headsets with you I personally suggest to buy samsung vr gear or any other because lenovo's vr sets are pretty basic and dosent satisfied the 1299 price and dosent have any controller on it.
On the bright side it do have gyroscope I it so you will not face any problem foe your 3d content.
