Lenovo recently decided to discontinue its custom Wii UI. With this, the company's stock Android journey started. The new Lenovo 8 Plus is a haven for the same journey. In recent times, demand for devices running on stock Android has increased, Lenovo removed the Wii UI for this reason. Lenovo K8 Note was the first phone of the company running this UI. Customers now have the option of Lenovo K8 Plus. By the way, Lenovo's 8 Plus is not part of the Android One family like Shaomi Me A1(review). But the experience of using it is almost the same. Is this the only interesting feature in Lenovo's 8 Plus? Let's know.

Lenovo K8 Plus Design

If you recently used a Lenovo smartphone, the K8 Plus would look quite familiar. Like the other options available in the market, Lenovo has a metal body in 8 plus. At first glance, the size of the phone will draw your attention. This is the link between Lenovo's 8th and Lenovo's 8 notes. It is made for use with one hand. The phone has a 5.2 inch full HD display. The capacitive Android navigation buttons are below the display. Lenovo has used a non-backlit navigation button in this phone. There is a problem finding these buttons in the dark.

Power and volume buttons are on the right side The texture of the power button is slightly different, so its identity is easily realized. On the other hand, there is a physical music button. It can also be used to play or pause songs, or to change songs. The good news is that this button can also be customized to take screenshots or to launch a particular app.

Lenovo's 8 Plus is a dual SIM device and has SIM tray left. You will get 2 slots for the Nano SIM and there is a separate slot for the MicroSD card.

On the back side, two rear cameras have been provided in 8 Plus. The cameras come with dual-tone LED flash. Fingerprint sensor has got place in the bottom of the camera. It's easy to reach. Response is also good and we have never had trouble unlocking the phone. The fingerbars are easily printed on the metal back. These were clearly visible on our Vanam Black Review Unit. At the bottom of the phone there is a micro-USB port. It has speaker grill on either side 3.5mm headphone socket has got place on top.

Lenovo's 8 Plus is a bit thicker. Thickness is 8.99 millimeters and weighing 165 grams Some people will look a bit like this. This can be due to a large battery of 4000 mAh.

Specifications and software of the Lenovo K8 Plus

Lenovo's 8 Plus has a 5.2-inch Full-HD display. There is a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Viewing angles are good. Color reproduction is also fine. If you need punchy contrast, you have the option to switch the display color mode. Brightness is sufficient for Indoor, but you will find it difficult to read something on the screen in sunlight.

Lenovo used the MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-core processor with 2.5 GHz clock speed. Lenovo's 8 Plus offers 4 GB RAM. Storage is 32 GB and you will be able to use microSD card upto 128 GB.

Two rear cameras have been given in Lenovo's 8 Plus for being in the trend. One camera is 13 megapixels and the other is 5 megapixels. In the setup, the secondary camera works as a measurable measure in the depth mode. The front panel has an 8-megapixel sensor. It comes with Selfie Flash. Speaking of connectivity, the smartphone has two nano SIM slots and both support 4G VoLTE. Apart from this you will find Bluetooth and Wi-Fi B / G / N.
