Lenovo g500 s is the latest addition to the G series family of products and it is the successor to Lenovo G500. It is an average looking laptop that has very decent specifications and a budget friendly price tag which I think would be an appropriate option for students to consider. This laptop is available with 5th generation inter core processor. I have a core i3 version with 4 GB of ram.
Versions with more ram is also available. Screen size is 15.6 inches and it provides a decent visibility and good colour variations. There is an option for a dedicated video graphics memory too. You can also run most of the modern games in performance mode without the dedicated graphics. So overall it is another good product from Lenovo.
