I bought 3 months(Feb first week 2010) back LENOVO G450 2949baq series for 30000 bucks. Now the price is 27500. Its config is INTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.2GHz SPEED
320GB hard disk
3GB ddr2 RAM
14.1' HD LED
DOS
Driver cd for WINDOWS 7
Coming to positives about the product is its cheap and looks stylish and made for rough and tough use. Its having nice screen and it consists all of the features like BLUETOOTH, WEBCAM , RECOVERY BUTTON, 3USB PORTS. touchpad is also nice.cam is also good. I am getting 3-4 hours of backup. I bought DOS and I have installed WINDOWS 7 on it and then I shifted to XP as I need XP for my applications.The thing is to install xp u can't install directly . u will get the details easily in lenovo forums about how to install xp on G450 series.
Cons of this product are
1.Heat exemption is very much so u definitely need laptop cooling pad for it.
2.keypad is not as comfortable as other laptops u may have seen.
3.to install xp u need to download drivers.u will get drivers for windows 7 only.
4.volume is low.
So the guys who want cheap and best laptop can undoubtedly buy this laptop.
