This novel is good to read.this novel takes place in the kirkuk place of europe in the 1950s. the story tells about the three different people hameed, khidir brother-in-law of hameed and burhan.the story tells about the strike of iraq petroleum company with hameed as the strike organiser and his brother-in-law khidir went to the soviet union to search his two brothers.
This story tells about the complexity and the monarchy of the iraq.the author fadhil-al-azzawi narrated the story in his best way and it was nice to read.this things can be happened in the 1950s in iraq and it was one of the best books of the author to read during break hours to know about the people of some place.
