Irrespective of powerful star casts and solid acting this movie somehow fails to pump adrenaline rush to the audience. The story lacks suspense and thrill totally and somewhat loosely written script.
Its all about understanding the lakshya (goal ) in a person's life (Hrithik), and thereby transformation of an goalless individual to a man of character.
However for that a person need not join army he could realise it in a different ways. Amitabh Bachchan was not utilised at all to his competencies. He was more sidetracked in the movie , I feel could have more role to play with such a charismatic character to play.
The war sequences was not realistic, and looked more like simple gun shots in Hindi movies. The theory of overtaking a point occupied by terrorists could be shown with some more realistic strategies. The whole mission looked like some police raid.
A group song ''Kandhe se Milte hai Kandhe'' is worth listening and very provocating.
