You may have put your foot on some amazing bridges but if you have been on Lakshman Jhula nothing like that . It was constructed by Raja of Tehri Garwhal - Sudurshan Shah .
It is such a large bridge that its spaciousness will amaze you.
It is such a pleasant surprise to watch river Ganges flowing by under it!
And, whenever Kumbh, a very special gathering of hindu devotees happens; this bridge plays a very important role as millions of devotees- particularly sadhus(mendicants) pass through it.
I believe, it is a good spot to shoot photographs and videos from it as it provides panoramic view.One can also spend some time watching passers by and enjoy mother nature!Though, one can visit it anytime but visit it during summer or autumn! All- irrespective of religions, castes, cultures- can visit it! Tip: Please take care of your belongings and stay away from nefarious elements!
