I visited the Lakme Salon located in Koramangala, opposite Sony Centre, one year back. I chose to have a hair cut and a facial. I was initially impressed with the look and decor of the salon. This increased my expectations. But I was turned off due to the hygiene factor. I was offered a highly priced facial which was not at all satisfying to my skin. They first applied bleach to my skin and then did the facial. I liked the bleach which was Wella bleach but the facial looked great for that day and the next day, my skin was back to how it was. I was charged heavily for this.
Talking about the haircut, a senior stylist was handling my haircut(Layer cut) and I was quite happy with the way my hairstyle turned out. I also got tips on how to maintain the texture of my hair and what type of products to avoid. That as the best part of my experience at Lakme salon. I think it depends upon the stylist/ staff you get, at your service.
