Movie is a real comedy with interesting moments which makes you laugh & cry. It is next to impossible for any one to not like it. A new idea is given by the director of street savvy tapories finding them selves face to face with Gandhi’s ideology.
Munna the goon comes face to face with Bapu. He discovers that it takes more courage to turn the other cheek than to hit back. He realizes nothing work better than non-violence. With that Munna wins his foes & even the love of a woman.
Circuit keeps himself busy forcing people to vacate the properties. Munna spends his time listening to the programme of J. Jhanvi on radio. By answering few questions on Mahatma Gandhi he gets the chance to be on her show. To impress her he tells her that he is a professor of History called Murli Prasad.
Jhanvi gets impressed & asks Murli Prasad to give a lecture about Gandhi to her children.(Her grandfather’s friends)
Munna gets real confused & he keeps on reading books in library about Gandhiji where he appears. It has been conveyed in the movie that teaching can be practiced in practical life.
Munna becomes very friendly with Gandhiji and gets to know all about him in person. He turns up at Jhanvi’s place and gives a interesting speech about Gandhi ji and impresses everyone with it.
Munna(Sanjay Dutt) & Circuit (Arshad) both work for Lucky Singh by vacating properties of others by illegal means but the problem starts when Lucky Singh wants to take over Jhanvi’s property. Munna becomes Good Samaritan & in his typical Tapori style tells people to help, on Jhanvi’s radio show.
Munna armed by Gandhiji's idealogy wins in the end. Best part of the film is the way this film blends comedy & emotional moments. There are occasions when Munna & Arshad make you emotional.
Dilip Prabhavalkar plays role of Gandhi. He had smile on his face through out the movie .He looks very polite. Music & songs are just average. Story is simple & honest.
Munna & Circuit both have acted very well , their performance is of high caliber, mind blowing & they team up pretty well with each other.
Boman Irani is terrific as usual.
Vidya Balan looks very nice with her beautiful smile & charming personality.
Apology scene is the best in movie which is full of emotions. To sum up we can say, "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" is a wonderful enjoyable movie to see in a group or with family than alone.
Hope to see more movies in this series& wish ,the Director plans for the third part.
