Yeah, the LG Nexus 5( 2013) is about two years old in this world, but one can never deny the fact that this Nexus was one of the best phones launched ever.

I'm just giving some important facts regarding the latter's survival( if you already own one) in the current world.

Positives:

  1. Latest Updates:

One of the best things about owning a Nexus device is getting, First In The Line Android updates. Even if it's an old device but it's one of the few devices running Android Marshmallow. Also adding a fact here, it got the update almost two months ago whereas big flagships haven't still got the update yet.

  1. Smooth Software:

Although the SoC running the core of the device is getting older, the optimization of the firware along with the hardware makes the Nexus 5 younger than ever. With no bloatware( additional system applications and goodies), this very device runs a stock version of the latest Android OS.

  1. Memory Management:

With Android Marshmallow and not so much 2GB Ram, this device still cooks up the best output dish for the users. You can hardly notice any lag while using almost every application.

Negatives:

  1. Camera:

When Google launched this mobile phone, at that time too it lagged behind in the race of Smartphone Cameras. 8MP Rear Shooter was not a classical one to shoot great photographs but also mentioning, it had the best OIS( Optical Image Stabilization) during that time.

  1. Speakers:

A mono speaker at the bottom of the device makes it harder to have great listening experience. The speaker itself isn't a great one.

Conclusion:

If you still own a Nexus 5 and you are planning on buying a new device for 20, 000 INR, there are better options available in this bracket, but the old rigid Nexus 5 can still offer tough competition to almost every device in this range.
