I have come across many a company manufacturing household articles like TV, fridge, Washing Machine and Microwave Owen, but never have I been fascinated by anyone other than LG. Especially for their innovative thinking and posh structuring of their products. Somehow I find myself to have an affinity towards LG.
But recently I came across this product from LG, the LG 250 L that had the door cooling technology. Yes, the much acclaimed technology which has a patent too. And a fact, which is accepted as true by even the makers of LG, is that not many are aware of what door cooling is. Let me throw some light on it before actually speaking about the fridge itself.
Door Cooling:- As we all know, in a conventional fridge, the refrigerant circulates around, and thus produces coolness and this is imparted to the food stuffs. But this happens at the core and so the shelves behind the door are not reached properly. Result is nothing but ineffective cooling.
But with door cooling technology, cool air is passed through the door also and thus keeping the food articles fresh all the way along. Normally it is fruits and vegetables that occupy the trays behind the door, at least in my house. So this technology becomes very much necessary, as fresh food keeps us healthier and preserve the nutritional value of the foodstuffs.
Since this technology is one of its kind and developed by LG alone, they have got it patented. And why not? A technology so revolutionary does deserve a patent.
That was door-cooling for you and now we come back to the fridge that contains this wonderful technology, the LG 250L, whose features are discussed below.
The Design:- The trend nowadays is to have refrigerators that are not too spacious, but with too many features. The same style is incorporated even in LG and as I say this, you might have guessed the spaciousness. As for the body, it is artistically designed and wonderfully finished. The availability of a wide range of colours is an added advantage. With a double-door, deep-door design, the refrigerator comes in with a smart handle. The clean back and excellent finishing only means that this fridge looks good.
Features:- One of the most striking features is the Door cooling about which we have already discussed. The door-cooling duct is provided along the door, which pushes in cool air, keeping the materials fresh always.
The fridge in itself contains two parts namely the Freezer compartment and the general compartment. The freezer compartment comprises of the “Twist Ice Tray” which makes ice real fast. Ice can be removed easily and there is a “Quick Freezer Chamber “ that makes ice creams in a whizz of time.
Coming the general compartment, it contains tough shelves that can bear load effectively. Though curbed in space the fridge can hold a large quantity of vegetables in the vegetable tray. I really liked the sturdiness of the trays. They are firmly fixed and are unbreakable, so to say. A “Cell Fresh Crisper” is present in between the shelf that adds up to the goodies. It retains moisture to keep fruits and vegetables crisp and fresh. A unique feature of this refrigerator is the “Z-Deodoriser “which removes unpleasant odours inside the refrigerator. So is the “F.I.R” lamp which is a ceramic lamp which indeed slows protein degeneration and again keep food fresh for long. Multiple air vents in Z4 Airflowgives an uniform cooling effect.
How good is it?: Definitely this fridge is more advantageous than any others. Ultimately we want our foodstuffs to be kept healthy and fresh. This is done so efficiently by this refrigerator. Every part of the fridge gets uniform cooling and with a complete frostfree nature, the LG 250L emerges a winner.
Summing it up, this fridge is definitely worst it. The price too is not too taxing and this in reality has kept this fridge above all else. I would certainly go for this refrigerator for those lucrative features and would suggest one and all to go for it.
