I have visitedL.R.S. Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases - New Delhi . I am very impressed by the method by which patients are treated. after the cold and sneezing of 2 week sputum collection of patient taken for the laboratory purpose. there is the separate tb unite inside the hospital. if the laboratory report is positive dots therapy started by the 6 month in the case of type 1 and 2 category and 1 year dots therapy in the case of MDR TB.
Dots are provided to patient under the supervision of proper health worker. isoniazide is also given to patients child to prevent TB infection.i have seen many case of tb which are cure from the TB and they are able live normal life. bio medical waste management is so proper. we are very satisfy with work done by this hospital. infrastructure of this hospital is also very well.really follow up of TB patient also taken time to time.all staff are also cooperative in nature.
