My 219!

Ease of Use:

Kindly suggest a good dictionary. I'm planning to send one to L?Oreal. Anti-frizz conditioner has to have some anti-frizzing that it does... L?Oreal seems to think otherwise.

Buying

L?Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Anti frizz conditioner sounded just the conditioner for me. So I bought it. At 219 for the bottle too. I'm not trying to be cheesy or anything but most of the other brands are cheaper including Fructis, so it did pinch.

You do have more expensive brands in the market but you have things like garnier fructis and wheatgerm conditioner by garnier too that're better and reasonably priced. But the descriptive name told me it was the right thing to do. Point to be noted is that I bought it even though the bottle happily insulted my hair... says on the bottle 'for dry (Blush), coarse (ouch), rebellious (sob) hair.

Post Buying

219! I spent 219 for a bottle that's so amazingly squeezed in the middle that it makes me wonder if the 200 ml it claims to hold is actually a 20. But then I think... what 219 bucks man! I'll be rid of my frizzy hair (well not rid of my HAIR but the frizziness). Soon I had started to picture me with my straight anti-frizzed hair......bliss!

The Test

So the shampooing is done and the conditioner takes centre stage. Decent and thick consistency, so far so good. Washing off the conditioner feels pretty ok too. Hair do seem silky and all that you know. Already I couldn?t wait to see what it difference I'd feel once my hair dried.

Post Test

So they're drying. And drying. And half of them are standing on their roots like I electrocuted myself. But that's ok. Calm down I say to myself. Maybe after they dry out completely I'll see the difference.

And boy was there a difference! Now all of em were standing on their roots.

Maybe I used it wrong? This is the stage where you still don?t wish to accept the crappiness of your conditioner and hope that it was you who messed up. But re-reading the instructions makes it worse coz I did it right! So it's decided that you'll give it another chance. Maybe these kind of things take time.

And the cycle goes on Ok so the bottomline is that I've been using this god forsaken conditioner on my godforesaken hair for some time now and now God has refused to even forsake them. It says on the bottle.. technological innovation?. Innovation my ass!

Here's the deal

Does it condition?

Yes if you're looking at just a little bit of improvement over a shampoo

Does it do any anti-frizzing?

I'll send u a picture. You decide. They're still standing on my head you know. None of that smooth flowing crap. Just STANDING.

Is it worth the money?

Did you not read the review right!

If you're looking for value for money don't touch this product. And if you're looking for anti-frizzing, I suggest you run far from it. Really far.

Maybe I ought to sue them or something. Get my 219 back. ........ok so I saw myself in the mirror. I'm suing for a million.
