Why do people fall in love?. Review on Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Hello Friends, last weekend I happen to visit my friend who is a very big fan of king khan. And while talking he exaggerated the performance of his favourite in the movie kuch kuch hota hai to such an extent that I had to watch this movie again after such a long time. And, no need to say, I went gaga over the performance of each and every artist in the movie. I don’t know what is there in the movie that captivates me every time I watch this movie.

Story in the nutshell:-

A love triangle with a twist, something new that audience would like for sure. Anjali (kajol) is in love with Rahul (king khan), while our romeo is after Tina (Rani Mukherjee). Eventually, Rahul gets married to Tina and Anjali is left alone. Now you must be wondering as what’s different in the story. So twist comes in when tina dies leaving her daughter who is again named as Anjali. Now Anjali comes to know that her father had a class-mate named Anjali through letters left by her mother to be given on her each birthday. Now don’t ask me the logic behind the letters as I’m not the director or script writer.

But the story goes like this, Anjali (daughter of Rahul) wants Anjali to come and take her mother’s place, however Rahul won’t be ready but she is adamant. Then she finally arrives to………where???? Watch the movie and find out yaar!!

I don’t think if I need to say anything about this actor’s acting skills. He’s the best after big B (people say) but I believe the hype is of no use here as actor once again in the movie couldn’t come out of his (so-called) shahrukh image. There was nothing different, the same stuff all the time. He needs a break seriously. The same dialogue delivery (no change in tone even) and he’s compared to BIG B, now that is what I would rather all injustice to the latter to be compared to one who’s still in the infancy stage of his journey. There’s no variation and variation is what today’s audience wants.

Now we’re sick and tired of the same old stuff and khan sahab “THODA SA TO KUCH ALAG DIKHAO” is all that we all are craving for. There’s no doubt that you’re very talented otherwise even you would have perished in the long run. But since you’re there, it proves you’ve something (I’m still in the stage of guessing, hope I’m not wrong) so bring that something out and do something that seperates you from the your own image. Be the character and not shahrukh ( and only shahrukh).

My wish: -

Shahrukh is the best choice for the character, no other actor would have been able to do justice to this role except him.

How much did he score?

Since he did his part well I would like to give him 6 points. (6/10)

What to say about this actress, she is simply brilliant (her skills show that). Her character in this movie resembles to karishma’s in dil to pagal hai. Tom boyish, till the first half and then we see the evolution of a golden girl (hope I’m not exaggerating).

Guys she is simply brilliant and what else to say!!!!!!11hope my comment sums up everything.

My wish: -

I can’t even imagine any other doing this role. No choices but only kajol.

How much did she score: -

She has really done a fantastic job henceforth she deserves 8 points. (8/10)

· Rani Mukherjee: -J

She also did her part well. Not much to play for her as she was destined to die. Anyway, I expected more from her. Her harsh voice is one thing that irritates me a lot, such a nice actress and what a nice L voice. (Well said god never gives anyone everything). She is talented no doubt but she need to work with directors who can tap her talent and not appear for guest appearance all the time.

My wish: -

Any actor could have done this role, no big deal.

How much did she score?

She scores 4.5 points. (4.5/10)

Other actors including farida jalal, anupam kher, archana, himani and a surprise salman, all were good.

· Music: -

Again a blend of good music and https://lyrics. Movie owes its success to its music (equally to performance and direction).

All the songs are beautiful. I’m short of words.

Music simply rocks henceforth I will give music 8 points. (8/10)

· Direction: -

Taut direction – as father as son. Karan is one talented dude. he gave his audience HIT after HIT. Now a days he is enjoying producing rather than directing.

Anway his sense of selection of script,music,actors is keen,hope to few more hits coming from him in the next few years.

How much he deserves?

I would give him 8 points (little liberal no). 8/10

A good movie worth a watch.

Why to watch: -

A beautiful movie wrapped in sweet music and performance.

Why not to watch: -

If you are looking for action and illogical “mardhad”.
