Remember Koi...Mil Gaya? Yes, the same movie, which you liked the most and which became one of the finest movies of Bollywood. And now comes its sequel, which is many times better then Koi...Mil Gaya!

The story (Only a very little portion is revealed. I don’t wont to spoil the joy):

The movie starts where Koi...Mil Gaya ends. Rohit (Hrithik) and Nisha (Priety Zinta) marry. Nisha gets pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy Krishna (Hrithik Roshan). Both Rohit and Nisha die due to an ‘unfortunate’ incident. And Krishna got the magical powers, which was acquired by Rohit from Jadoo. In school, Krishna was the wisest and the most intelligent. He had chances to earn name and fame for himself. But his grandmother didn’t’ wanted all this. So he took Krishna to a far village in Himachal. Here Krishna grows up. All his friends went to the city. So he had to make all the animals and birds his friends. And at that time he met Priya (Priyanka Chopra), who had come in that region for a camp. Krishna felled in love with her. On the other hand, Dr. Siddhanth Arya (Naseeruddin Shah), a mad scientist was on a verge of completing his ambitious dream, for which he can do anything. So will Krishna get his love? Will Dr.Arya be able to complete his dream? And why and how did Rohit and Nisha die?

Hrithik Roshan’s performance is outstanding. Words cannot describe how beautiful performance he had delivered. His last film was Lakshya, released 2 years ago. With Krrish, Hrithik proves that he is the one of the best actor of Bollywood. I hope he delivers some great performance in future too.

Priyanka Chopra holds a strong position of herself throughout the movie. Her acting was perfect, with no flaws. Priyanka is quite a lucky girl. Most of her movies such as The Hero, Andaaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz, Waqt, Bluffmaster! were super-hits. And her forthcoming movies like Salaam-E-Ishq, Don, and Happy New Year are predicted to be hit. Wow!

Rekha was totally natural and excellent. From the starting till the end, she doesn’t disappoint. Priety Zinta was there only only for a scene.

Naseeruddin Shah (last seen in negative role in ‘Mohra’) was also great! He too did not disappoint and neither overacted. He gets into the skin of the character. His performance is worth watching!

Sharat Saxena was excellent. Manini Mishra (‘Pari’ of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin) was funny. Archana Puan Singh was as usual. Puneet Isarr was good. Others were nice. Xia Bin who played the role of Chris Lee, was mind-blowing and delivers a fantastic performance.

Rajesh Roshan’s music was very nice and was according to the mood of the movie. Songs were nice, some like ‘Sa Ra Ra Ra’ ‘Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani’ were old-fashioned but likeable. It was good to hear Udit Narayan’s voice after such a long time in the song in ‘Sa Ra Ra Ra’. The best song of the movie is ‘Dil Na Diya’ and ‘Koi Tumsa Nahin’.

Story was outstanding. Rakesh Roshan has written this story very carefully and very properly.

Santosh Thundiyil’s cinematography was excellent and suited the movie. Salim-Sullaiman’s background music was excellent and was according to the theme of the movie.

Tony Ching Siu-Ting’s action excellent and outstanding. Effects were very modern and good.

Rakesh Roshan’s direction was marvelous. He uses his excellent direction skills to influence the viewers. For instance, Naseeruddin Shah is shown in such a way that we think that he has a positive role, but later we discover that he is the villain. And in the beginning, Sharat Saxena is shown as if his role is negative. But later in the movie we discover that he is not a baddie!

From the starting till the end, the movie does not bore (I wonder how people found this movie boring!) It gets a little slow in the first half but does not disappoint. The movie has excellent effects and action, which will thrill and excite the viewers.

Some of the excellent scenes of the movie:

  1. Krishna’s entry as an adult

  2. The scene where Krishna calls to the birds in the beginning

  3. The circus sequence

  4. The scene where Krrish fights the goons in the second half

  5. The last 30 minutes of the movie

On the whole, Krrish is an outstanding movie. It is a movie which thoroughly satisfies. It has outstanding performances, music and mind-blowing special effects, effects which are never before seen in Bollywood. Krrish is a turning point in Bollywood. A must for everyone. Just go for it now!
