12 days ago I online applied for Jifi pro savings account . It was mentioned that I will get instant account number after funding money from other existing account.
It appeared from the website ad, that the account number will be generated instantly .But will be activated after submitting the KYC & other documents.But after funding the account, I came to know there is nothing different from any conventional account opening .Generation of account number & activation of account will be done after submitting the documents .So, I did not any need to fund Kotak mahindra online. I could have visited any branch with documents & later funding can be done once the account activated.
Now it is very clear to me that Kotak Mahindra bank fooled me by this advertisement.
Four days later, concerned person from Kotak Mahindra came to my residence to collect the required documents .
I put my office address for communication.The bank representative told me that some bank official will come to my office for address verification.
Next day, I was not feeling well & took sick leave.But your authorized third party person came to my office on next day to verify my office address.The person called me to come to reception . I informed him that I am not in office & requested to come next day.The person told me that I can send any colleague to him who can confirm my employment .
I sent one junior employee who reports to me .He confirmed my employment .
Next day, I got a call from Kotak Mahindra Bank & I was informed that my office address verification was negative . I was shocked hearing that the third party vendor provided negative report on my employment at Wipro Ltd, Kolkata.
My junior employee confirmed my employment to your third party vendor. Then why was it negative?
If only physical presence of me required, why did the third party vendor tell me to send any colleague who knows me?Now I am completely fed up with Kotak Mahindra Bank. I do not want to verify my office address again & my humble request is to refund Rs 20,000 to source account .
For past five days I am continuously emailing them to refund my money back .But none of them is responding .
Probably they will return the money after a long time . It is a scam . They are using this money for some other purpose and they wont pay any interest while refunding the money.
