I am an IT professional with 15+ years of experience and a well travelled individual.
I had applied for eTerm Plan of 50Lacs from this company. At the same time, I applied for Rs. 75Lacs of eTerm plan from Max Life.
To my utter disappointment, while Max guys got my health checkup done and my policy issued in record 3 days time, these inefficient buggers could not set health checkup date for me even in 20 days. Forget about the proposal approval. Despite my repeated reminders these guys did not have any idea on my proposal status. Despite writing to their customer service and grievance cell, they did nothing. No one bothered to call customer and update about the status.
Highly inefficient customer service I have seen in past 15 years of my dealings with such private companies. That too at the time of inception of the new relationship.
I had to cancel my policy and for getting my refund I had to follow up with them for 2 months straight.
When at the time of policy purchase, they can torment the customers to this level, one can imagine, god forbid, if your nominees need to claim for your policy, what treatment these retards would give you.
