This is probably last of my bike reviews hope you enjoyed reading them. Coming to the reviewing if you have trouble driving Two-Wheeler vehicles, cannot control a bike with gears, clutch or don’t want to waste time in learning it, don’t worry there is a solution Drive TVS Scooty. There is a double advantage of driving Scooterettes like Scooty, it’s easy to drive and secondly obtaining license for it is relatively easy. Well nothing in the world is perfect and completely good. A coin always has two sides. You have some thing good like ease of riding, button start etc., on the other hand you compromise over power, mileage. Let me make it clear at the start itself that this is a Scooterette specially made for city use and shorter commutes and is better for riding single.

As in case of saffire and Scooty I have a complain about the weak body structure of the Scooter. The material used for covering is very weak. Perhaps this the only weak link in this bike. It is fairly easy to get dents and even major damages in case of minor accidents. What I like most of the machine is sleek handle panel with a head light and 2 signal light. The handle width is extended till the base making it cool in looks.

The engine is 4 bhp and 2 stroke. It has a autostart and a kick start. Fuel tank capacity is average 6 liters with 1 for reserve. A glove box is provided in the handle part for keeping small valuables or say driving document. Scooty has a space for helmet under the seat. Suspensions are very good with Hydraulic damped mono for rear and usual telescopic for the front. Maintenance can be a major problem with the bike. Two friends of mine have been complaining about the bike breaking down due to oil leakage and auto start up problem. I personally wouldn’t insist you on buying it but wouldn’t deny its existence either. You better have a test drive before making the final decision and ask people who own the bike. Whenever I drove the bike I felt it perfect. I’m just a messenger. Its you who have to walk through the door.

In style department it one of the cool scoterettes around. I sort of put you in a dilemma by giving a weird title. One major positive that has come across me is the cost of the Scooter. The showroom prize is around 25K compared to above 30K of Scooty. Design is very sleek and sort of Aerodynamic. The bike comes in black, red and white color. The one I drove was a red colored. What makes this bike better than Scooty is just engine power? Compared to 65 cc of the former it has got a slightly better displacement of 72 cc. This is not going to do a world of good to the speed thriving maniacs but at least a smile for a descent driver. Maximum speed of the Scooter is just 45 kmph. This is really embarrassing if you’re used to Fiero and CBZ. You would rather prefer a multi-geared Hero cycle to it. One reason why they kept it low would be the instability or wobbling at high speeds.

Maximum power at 6500 RPM is 4.5 bhp. This can me a much-awaited relief. To add to it has a sound ground clearance and Maximum torque. You better have a test drive before making the final decision. I’m just a messenger. Its you who have to walk through the door.

So coming to the end of my review I would really like to thank all my readers for there support and lenient rating.
