This is the first time I am writing a review. Honestly I don't have much experience with bikes and this is my first vehicle. I had to take a tough decision while buying it. I was utterly confused which vehicle to buy. While I could see Honda Activa all around the town, but all the reviews said that Kinetic Nova 135 is a better option.

I am not at all satisfied with my scooter. It is giving me lots of problem. It might be because of faulty piece or might be because the dealer is brand new in the market so is not that comfortable in assembling or servicing.

1st problem that I faced within 3 weeks of buying is with the headlight. It got fused and I had to replace it with a new one. The present halogen lamp is much superior compared to the previous one fitted from Kinetic.

2nd problem is the engine idling. The engine stops always if I don't give it a raise. It happens even on road and even after running for 25-30 km. This situation is quite embarrassing especially in slow moving traffic and when everybody is eager to move forward. Even after the first servicing the problem still is bugging me a lot. Even if I increase the idling after one or two rides it becomes all the same.

3rd thing which I didn't like about it is the grip. It's quite uncomfortable and the hand pains if you ride for long time. Honda Activa grip is much better. There should have been a brake lock also like Activa so that the rider need not hold the break all the time on slopes if he/she needs to stop.

Pick up wise whatever I read in all the other reviews didn't turn true in my case. That is quite visible when from a signal other vehicles start and move so fast. In no way I am feeling that I ride a 135cc scooter as it has even lesser power than Bajaj CT100 which is slightly less than 100cc. Only the fuel consumption of the scooter is like 135cc nothing else :-)

The engine vibrates too much. Even in slightly more than 50kmph. I barely drive it in more than 60 as it was written in the manual not to drive it too fast for 1st 1000km or so.

Too few service centers in Bangalore(I don't know about the other cities)and for a small spare part I need to drive too long.

It will be unfair if I highlight only the bad things. Though there are very few good things to say about the scooter but still one of them is the spacious underseat. 2 helmet capacity will be actually a little too much but yes it can well hold a jacket(folded) and a helmet neatly. The LEDs inside are useful in dark to find things. Mobile charger may be useful to people who are planning to charge their cell phones on the go but I doubt how much would be the practical use. The colors are catchy and overall handling is OK. Could have improved the side foot rest(For saree) by providing a folding one instead of a fixed one.

I am not getting any idea if the problem is with only my vehicle or everyone faces the same problem after buying a new vehicle but I am not at all satisfied with the performance.

Updates on 6th October:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------

Recently my fuel meter had stopped working. I tried to get it changed by a dealer near my house but inspite of having one year warranty I was told that I can avail the warranty only from the dealer who sold it to me. As far as I know the warranty comes from the company and not from the dealers. Kinetic dealers are really frustrating in Bangalore. Anyway I got my fuel meter changed for 100/- though the service guy did it without the notice of the shop owner as he was asking for 200/- for a new fuel meter. Even after changing that it's not working properly. Lets see how long do I need to suffer more for my vehicle :-(

Updating the mileage on one of the reader's request. I am getting somewhat 45-50 kmpl.
