Being a cost conscious guy, I purchased this bike, last year, in the month of August 2004 based on my visit to almost all the dealers of Mobike manufacturer. After running my mobike for 19000+ KM in one year and 3 month, my observation on this bike is as under :-
Mileage :- is around 60 KMPL. People claims the average of 80-85, but I can’t trust. I guess, BAJAJ should state only facts while marketing their products.
Lighting is poor.
Gear shifting problem as this is there with all the bikes manufactured by BAJAJ.
Instant Braking at a speed of 45 or more, rear tyre is likely to tremble and skids. So if you are driving you have to be careful in braking, use front and rear both brakes together to avoid this problem.
Aesthetic :- Petrol tank is size and placement is spoiling the whole grace of bike.
Rear and front both tyres are of 2.75 size, rear tyre should have been slightly wider, may be 3.00 for better grip on the road.
Performance :- Overall performance of the bike is all right, or we can say this is the best performance bike in its category. Servicing of the dealer is really poor.
In a nutshell, you have to compromise in terms of feature, if you want to go for a bike with this kind of pricing (35k to 37k on road).
