I got this Kent Grand water purifier in Oct 2009, so thought of writing a review on it. So far I had no issues with it but I have seen lots of complaints from users in Mouthshut.  Before buying this product I checked all for other water purifiers available in the market and among them Kent seems to be the best for my usage. My house got borewell water and the TDS level is around 750 ppm, so normal UV filters were out of question and my daily consumption was around 20 liters of water.


Kent water tastes good but there is lot of wastage involved (close to 75% water is wasted), I think almost all RO filters does it. Design wise I did not like the transparent cabinet showing the tubes and filters, I like the design of Phillip's filters. When I got this filter I was promised 2 free services within an year, no one came to my house or called me. I think service is a common problem with all water purifiers sold in India, I have read very bad experiences from users for Kent as well as Aquaguard. All these companies are too good with marketing especially Aquaguard but pathetic on the service side. I got a my service done from another Kent dealer for Rs 200, filters and tank were cleaned.


I will recommend this product but do not expect great service.
