Bought a Kent Mini Water Softener from Next online and got a delivery after over 2 weeks. I installed it myself and found that there was a leak from the salt brine container to the resin section. I called Kent helpline after which the problem started.
1) When I used the IVR and navigated for supported it just kept reading out 10+ numbers near my location that I could call for support which was a really bad experience. I had to keep repeating the call to note down the numbers.
2) I finally found another alternate Kent helpline number on the unit and called it only to be told by the lady that everybody is having lunch so please call later. Is Kent some sort of local business that has a lunch time that customers should not call during that time? I understand work hours but lunch break is funny.
3) After lunch they finally gave me a number but it was of the Kent RO but he helped me to get the number of a guy from water softener team. When I called that number he again gave me the number of another person Mr Uday who dispatches the person for installation etc.
4) Mr Uday told me someone will come over the weekend and it has been 3 days now still nobody has turned up which makes me feel that after you buy the product forget about any sort of help.
Shouldn't the helpline itself take all the queries, track my call and give me a confirmation about engineer visit? Really surprised a company like Kent has no process in place.
