I bought the washing machine around 2001. during 2nd year the hosestarted slipping off tap causing frequent deluge in our kitchen andliving room. this was fixed by fitting a contraption to connect hosetotap at cost ofabout 500/-. the timer used to stop at certain pointsinthe cycle. this was corrected by replacing the water pump. thenthedrive belt broke which was replaced after about 3 weeks at about500/-.then timer failed which was replaced for rs1500/-. the steeldoorsstarted coming off the hinges frequently. nowlast week thecircuitboard failed and was replaced for about 1600bucks. it stoppedworkingin one days time and they took the machine toservice centre andbroughtit back after repairs (nature not known).every time the serviceguycharges around rs 100 to 250 as servicecharge and "auto fare".
itis difficult to operate the steel doors and push in clothes. theswitches on control panel are erratic. all this points to poor qualitycontrol in manufacturing. I wont reccommend this machine to anyone
