Here I have got opportunity to tell everyone of u interested in knowing Vaze-Kelkar college, Mulund (E) located at slightly desolated place from the main city . It takes around 10-15 min by walking from Mulund Station.
Vaze has all 3 main faculties, i.e., Arts,Commerce & Science , but it's most popular for science ...also cut-off for science never comes below 88 % . For commerce & Arts its lenient ...
You can find whole wild greenery around the college. So for all those sitting beside windows , have nice TP to look outside during lectures . But at the same time it feels like forsaken with sooo much silence around the place
Most of the ppl will tell u ‘u r going to vaze ?...scholar man!!!’ but its total misconception which I realized later when I saw huge no of students participating in sooo many extra-curricular activities..Like sports ( Not only cricket,but Table tennis,chess,caram,volleyball.....yes..spacial attention is given on volleyball players...with rigorous practice …& what not )
Dimension is major festival which rocks the college completely. Dimension is all about Dance, singing, fashion show, personality contest & other stuff...but most of the crowd is prefers to be on the ground.
Still I feel for dance only some time of the day should be given.
Only few of you must be knowing Yukta mookhy is frm this college....cheers !!!
Well..apart from dimension there is IT fest ..where brilliant heads in IT get their share to show their own softwares ,web sites & games .
There is also food fest ....
so if you have interest ,chance is next to you.
Since there is no college-katta , cars & bikes standing outside the college & canteen is the place u can find ur friend who has bunked the lecture.
what ????...When to get a time for study ?...oops...for that, the reading room (RR) as well as library with literally more than 20,000 books is provided . Most of the students use RR for assignment completion & notes completion for bunked lectures ..& if it seems short for what the staircase is meant ?
Yes..I should add , a computer is kept outside the library whereby u can check the book number,author,price etc.. instead of searching in cards .
In reading room u have lots of magazines to choose from like Business today (yes..tmrw's businessmen come from here..jkg),National Geographic etc..& prominent newspapers
ok...now In short I can write ...
As all colleges , here tooo mobile is banned...& like all colleges this restriction is only banned by students
Like every college,here is also a villain ... a black peon...he is such a rascal.... He has got more than 100000 curse from all students..
College staff is really superb & ever ready to solve ur any kind of problem
Why to go ???
_ Excellent staff
_ Study Environment .
_ Gives importance to extra-curricular activities
_ Huge canteen ...
_ If u feel ur college's name is associated with prestigious Vaze-Kelkar...
Why to avoid ???
_ Desolated from the main city & no space nearby to hang around (That’s the main thing)
_ If you don't have vehicle, its tiresome to come by walking & that is too on the lonely road. Also every time have to wait for share-auto.
